The power of support lies in fostering safe spaces ..

...that encourage learning and sharing, essential for personal development and cultivating the courage to face life's challenges with resilience.”

About Us

Welcome to Stutter UAE, the pioneering networking platform for people who stutter in the UAE, established in 2013 in Abu Dhabi. Our mission is to foster a supportive and engaging environment, celebrating everyone’s unique contribution, regardless of speech fluency. Whether seeking connection, support, or understanding, our community is open to all. We pride ourselves on hosting impactful events, including the annual International Stuttering Awareness Day since 2015, which has profoundly inspired us with the courage and resilience within the stuttering community.

Our journey began with a single conversation, evolving into a platform that unites and empowers. We've extended our reach, conducting awareness sessions across schools, universities, and organizations nationwide. Our focus remains on nurturing a warm, supportive community through regular meetups and providing valuable resources while enhancing public understanding of stuttering.

Recognized locally and globally, including media features and a documentary screened at Cannes and the Malmo Arab Film Festival, Stutter UAE continues to make strides. We're especially honored by our founder's receipt of the highest civilian award in Abu Dhabi, reflecting our impactful contribution to the community.
